Acucomm Consulting (Pty) Ltd (“Acucomm”, “we”, “us”) is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website. We are based in Bluff, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

• Your consent to processing for the purpose of responding to the enquiry

We do not ask for identity numbers, payment details or special personal information through this form.

Purpose of processing

We process this information solely to:

• Respond to your enquiry or consultation request
• Understand the nature of the project or advisory need you describe
• Follow up with you by email or phone where appropriate
• Keep a record of enquiries for business administration and accountability

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use enquiry-form data for unrelated marketing without a further lawful basis and, where required, your consent.

Lawful basis

Processing is based on your consent (given when you submit the form) and, where applicable, on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and administering our client relationships, balanced against your rights.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to complete the conversation and for a reasonable period thereafter for follow-up and record-keeping, or longer where required by law or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. When no longer required, records are deleted or anonymised.

Sharing and hosting

Enquiry data may be processed by service providers that host this website or deliver form notifications, under arrangements that require them to protect the information. All Acucomm services referred to on this site are hosted in South Africa. We will not transfer enquiry-form personal information outside South Africa without an appropriate POPIA basis and safeguards.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may, subject to the Act, request access to your personal information, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, object to processing in certain circumstances, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
